ASTON MOODY
Founder & Principal Designer
Coming to design as a second career, Aston brings gratitude and passion to work with her each day. After twelve years of teaching high school English, Aston decided to use her love for literature and reading in a different way. She goes into each project seeking how the space can better tell her client's story.
After she spent her first year under the tutelage of a talented, local female contractor, she decided to go out on her own to focus more on design than project management. Her experience in the construction world gave her invaluable insight into what clients need to elevate their spaces and achieve a polished, complete look.
Aston’s passion and expertise lie in the world of maximalism…pattern play, color, layering, and more is always more. She obsesses over hunting those just-right combinations to make each home an eclectic experience of curated selections. Her end goal is an elevated design that makes each client feel seen and gives them the gift of comfort and pride in their home.
Since opening AMI in 2017, Aston has had the privilege of serving hundreds of clients all over the southeast, hired a hardworking, professional team, and helped co-create TheColaEclectic, an innovative annual shopping event.
CAITLIN STOKES
Project Manager
Initially, Aston and Caitlin worked together on Caitlin’s home as client and decorator. They clicked immediately over Caitlin’s mutual love for color, pattern, and layering.
Caitlin thereby realized her interest in the design world and joined AMI at the perfect time, allowing an opportunity for expansion in clientele and depth of process.
Caitlin handles scheduling, client information, trade accounts, and product orders. Caitlin relates well to everyone and is always willing to answer questions and solve problems with clients and vendors. We couldn’t do life without her spreadsheets and color-coding!
