Tucked back on a new-build street in historic Columbia are some quaint and timeless single family, two stories. The construction had recently wrapped for this client, and she found herself in a beautiful home but surrounded by white empty walls. Her fun, vibrant personality craved subtle timeless textiles and texture through wallpaper and pillows to give the house a personality that reflected their own. They hired AMI with this request and Aston delivered. If the dining room had a dress code it would be dressy casual. The dramatic chandelier is not overly formal, and the window treatments bring in a touch of elegance. The living area has that southern coastal vibe with soft blues and grays on white. But true to her promise, Aston spiced it up with unexpected pops of hot pink and geometric patterns on layered pillows. The overall look is preppy, classic, and fresh – just what the client ordered.
