Spring Lake Road

This ranch style home lies near Lake Katherine in the heart of downtown Columbia. Although many of the rooms had already been beautifully updated, this family saved the front, formal living room for last, and the homeowners wanted to update it, using a little extra color and pizazz, into a comfortable space for adult entertaining and relaxing. Aston decided to keep the original sofa as it was neutral and in good condition, but she brought in color with these cobalt blue swivels, a pale blue oushak, and chartreuse accent pillows.  As opposed to built-ins, Aston added interest and symmetry with two consoles to flank the fireplace and framed television.
