Tuckahoe Court

This free spirit of a client is Aston’s favorite kind, trusting, decisive, and open. Although the rest of her house is updated-traditional, she requested that her Ladies’ Lounge {as they aptly deemed it} be fun and unexpected. This is a space where the client will read, listen to her extensive record collection, host her friends for cocktails, and relax with a hot tea. She hired Aston specifically because she knew AMI could make a bold statement from a blank slate. All this client had to say was CORAL, and Aston ran with it. She used this family heirloom settee as the main sitting area, but updated it with these lively pillows. Aston anchored the space and pulled the whole room together through this custom oushak rug. The spotted chairs and abstract curtains leave no room for boredom, and the record player being front and center ensures good times will be had by all. Our very favorite part is the record display on the far wall. Aston cannot leave a space without infusing the personality of the client into the spirit of the home.
