Glenwood Place

This young family of four moved into a beautiful, traditional brick home off of Trenholm in the heart of downtown Columbia. This house had such beautiful bones with huge moldings, multiple fireplaces, and pretty hardwoods throughout. Their style is on the more traditional end of what AMI can do, so Aston worked in her signature amount of color while still maintaining a timeless, tame overall look. The pass-throughs that flank and lead from the formal to the informal living room are Aston’s favorite part of the home, and she showcased them by using a beautiful blue paint and coordinating wallpaper for the bar on one side and built-ins on the other. Aston pulled in some soft pinks in the foyer and a navy cheetah in the dining room. Her designs contain child-proof durable textiles, but it is also now entertaining-ready home and can better serve these clients’ hosting needs!
