This beautiful historic bungalow in downtown Columbia, SC turned 100 years old during the process of this interior redesign. Aston aimed to keep the historic integrity and character of the home while updating everything for a fresh and colorful new look. The home owners wanted color and pattern and some nods to the 1920s, a style they personally loved. You will see how Aston incorporated this style through the wallpaper, decor, mirrors, and some of the lighting. The design features beautiful original art, custom designed rugs and furniture, and pattern layering at its best, assuring it will be a fun beginning to this home’s second century.
